The revenue obtained from the game has been spent on the different actions developed by the Foundation, and to help F.C. Renens through purchase of sport material and collaboration in the building of an artificial turf field.
F.C. Renens is a good example of the club that promotes football as a driving force for social integration. It works with over 400 children (boys and girls) from over 60 different countries and it has been awarded a prize in recognition of its efforts in integration matters.
The 100% amateur club is currently in a hard financial position.
Fabio Celestini, the founder of 442 Foundation, has very strong emotional ties with F.C. Renens, the club in which he started his career and where he stayed for 15 years. The offspring of Italian immigrants and current player of the Swiss selection, Fabio is a clear example of the successful working philosophy followed by F.C. Renens.
